Job description
We are backed by the same folks behind companies like Spacex, Anduril, Neuralink, Palaantir, & Reddit. We are a seasoned team of financial industry veterans, tech founders and operators. The independent financial advisory industry is an $80T Market in the US with little technological innovation comparted to the self-service market (Robinood, Betterment, Wealthfront, SoFi). For Example: it often takes financial advisors three days to open client accounts and requires antiquated processes like faxing paper work. Crazy!
We are building critical software infrastructure for financial advisors allowing them to spend less time on manual repetitive tasks and more time with their clients. We partner with financial advisory firms to help them rapidly scale their business while giving their clients better outcomes. We are looking for a Sr Engineering Manager who has experience leading/growing a team from 5 to 30 developers as well as experience building leading FinTech APIs and/or B2B Products. Folks who have experience working with seed/early stage startups, have started their own company, or have a history building personal projects are highly preferred!- Competitive salary and equity options

- Work closely with product and the engineering team to prioritize, sequence, and build roadmaps based on business goals and customer launches
- Run the execution of the engineering team (build execution plans, manage project scope, set timelines, keep the team accountable, communicating updates about team progress)
- Drive engineering hiring end-to-end
- Lead the team through the launch and scaling of our product across the core B2B product, integrations/external API, and platform
- Collaborate with Product to understand, triage, and resolve live customer issues to provide the highest quality experience to our customers
- Collaborate with tech leads to drive key decisions about technical stack and architecture
- Be the first line of defense from the tech team for live customer issues: identification, triage, execution, and resolution
Required:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related
- Experience growing an engineering team from ~5 to ~30+ engineers
- 5+ years as an Engineering Manager leading a remote team
- 5+ years as an IC
- Strong track record of you and your teams shipping high-quality systems with significant complexity and scale
- Experience working closely with a cross-functional product team
- Experience at seed/early-stage startups, started a company and/or launched personal projects
