MUST HAVE AN ADEM GRADE 4 WASTEWATER OPERATOR CERTIFICATION.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate wastewater treatment equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of plant machinery to prevent breakdowns and optimize efficiency
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime
- Document plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data accurately for reporting and regulatory purposes
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Wastewater Plant Operator
- ADEM Grade IV Wastewater License
- Proficient in wastewater treatment processes
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
