2WP-CNA1 Team is responsible for Polaris Industries and other North American Powersport and SUE (Small Utility Engine) customers. We supply ABS, EMS, EV and other Bosch technologies to these customers for use on motorcycles, SXS, ATVs, and Snowmobiles.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for Acquisition, Project and Commercial Management to ensure profitable business growth as well as customer satisfaction.
The candidate will be flexible and multi-skilled with a passion for building long-term customer relationships in the unique world of Two-Wheeler and Powersports.
Acquisition Management:
- Work with key players within Bosch, both internal to department and external, to understand product offerings, specifications, etc. and to identify potential opportunities.
- Have sufficient product knowledge to confidently and independently communicate USP’s to customer during the acquisition phase (with sufficient training to get up to speed on these topics).
- Organize customer meetings and internal project reviews , supporting their preparation and follow-up activities.
- Clarify RFQ Submission requirements with customers.
- Use the planning, quotation and Salesforce tools for successful acquisition of new business including coordinating internal and external activities for specific product areas and customers.
Project Management:
- Lead regular meetings with customers to discuss status of project requirements and time management.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to track and control project costs and maintain/improve profitability of projects.
Commercial Management:
- Support:
- Change management on engineering change requests from the customers as well as internally driven changes.
- Legal reviews and negotiations of customer agreements and documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Forecast activities of regional market sales, growth, and profit tracking.
- Annual pricing negotiations.
- Sample Management: Coordinate customer sample orders and delivery with sample coordinator.
General:
- Excellent communication skills, ability to summarize and concisely explain complex topics in simple terms.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and confidence in dealing with numbers.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision.
- Occasional travel as needed, domestic and international.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of business experience in an automotive or related environment.
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business Field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint.
- Multi-task in a very dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in and accommodate different time zones.
- Willingness or ability to have hybrid office presence.
- German, Spanish or Japanese language skills.
- Knowledge of and / or passion for Power Sports and Motorcycles.
