Pet Food Experts is now hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team! This role is for someone who loves to connect with people and build relationships, is organized while also being able to shift focus quickly, and a true culture champion for PFX.
Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a crucial team member who supports the full-cycle recruiting process while ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience at PFX. This position is responsible for supporting the Talent team’s efforts to attract, hire and retain top talent.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support Hiring Managers with the end-to-end recruiting process
- Be the first point of contact for all recruitment-related queries for both employees and external candidates
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews for all levels of positions
- Schedule candidates for interviews across multiple formats (e.g., phone, face-to-face, Telepresence/video conference), including requesting availability from candidates and interview panels, and preparing invitations via Google Mail
- Create/write employment ads and post open positions to appropriate posting boards and social media sites
- Manage candidate and interview panel communications related to interview process
- Support and facilitate new hire onboarding including offer letter generation, ClearCompany ATS/Paylocity integration, launching pre-employment screening
- Support multi-site recruitment
- Respond to all internal or external recruiting-related inquiries as needed
- Assist with reporting and/or metrics needed and coordinates performance evaluations on all new hires
Supporting Job Functions:
- Be a PFX culture champion
- Develop an understanding and awareness of each business unit and its structure to improve the quality and alignment of recruitment support
- Expertly assess talent at every level for skill, behavioral and cultural fit
- Contribute to the development and success of various talent-related projects such as employer branding, employee referral program, etc
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Passion for developing relationships and providing best in class customer service
- Extraordinarily organized and detail oriented with effective time management skills
- Polished and professional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and quickly pivot with changing priorities
- Work well independently and collaborate effectively as a team
- Exercise sound judgment and confidentiality in maintaining any sensitive candidate or employee information
- Proficient computer skills, Google suite preferred, Applicant Tracking software experience preferred
- Ability to travel <10%
Other:
- 2 years experience in a business environment utilizing talent acquisition or human resources
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, Hybrid schedule option
