Job description
GENERAL DUTIES:
- DevOps Engineer is responsible for seamlessly implementing technical architectures into cloud infrastructure, including design, maintenance, support, and planning.
- Accountable for identifying the most optimal cloud-based solutions for existing and emerging use cases, ensuring the cloud solution meets availability, accessibility, scalability, and cost-based needs.
- Responsible for architecting and implementing cloud security features into the system, including ensuring interfacing with identity services and the proper processing of sensitive data from a protection, encryption, transport, storage, access, and auditing standpoint.
- Responsible for guiding the team through the development life-cycle with cloud technologies, including Cl/CD releases.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 14 years of experience
- Familiarity with Service Mesh for GreyMatter
- Docker/Kubernetes for DPaaS
- AWS Cloud (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
- CI/CD (SonarQube, Jenkins)
- ETL AWS (Glue, EMR)
- Terraform
- Python
- Ansible
- Must have experience with implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, data literacy, DevOps best practices, Amazon Web Services (AWS)/ Commercial Cloud Services (C2S} implementation patterns, and cloud best practices and principles.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
- Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
- Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.
- Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check.
