A bit about us: We are a warm and closely-knit family of three, residing in Minnetonka, MN, which we call home for most of the year. However, during the winter months, we migrate to Florida, and we invite the nanny to join us in this seasonal change for short periods (1-2 weeks at a time), with provided housing and transportation. As parents, we thrive on embracing adventure, exploring a variety of interests, and cultivating a nurturing environment to foster our little one's growth and curiosity. Working from home, we make use of a second property on our lot as a central hub for childcare and educational activities throughout the day. Our easy-going 2.5 year old toddler delights in airplanes, outdoor play, park visits, music, and the joy of reading books.
 
A bit about you: We are searching for an experienced and reliable Nanny Educator with a passion for teaching and engaging with children. Your kind and nurturing demeanor aligns seamlessly with our family values, and your commitment to fostering curiosity makes you an ideal fit for our close-knit household.
 
Job Duties: As our Nanny Educator, your role involves a dynamic fusion of childcare and educational support, with a primary emphasis on guiding our toddler through crucial developmental milestones. Your responsibilities encompass the meticulous creation of a well-organized routine and schedule each week. This includes researching age-appropriate activities and curriculum, fostering social development, preparing meals, and coordinating essential elements for various enriching activities, including field trips to the local library, children’s museum, etc. You will also ensure strict adherence to the toddler’s nap schedule.

During the toddler’s nap, your additional tasks will extend to light household responsibilities such as restocking educational supplies, managing grocery lists, rotating toys, dedicating time for educational activity planning, attending to our child’s laundry needs, and ensuring the sanitization and organization of toys.

Location: Minnetonka, MN
 
Position Highlights: Excellent pay package, guaranteed hours, accrued PTO and sick time, escaping the chilly winter months with travel to Florida for 1-2 weeks at a time, and a long-term outlook.
 
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in childcare and/or educational settings, along with an Associate's degree or higher in a related field. They must maintain a safe driving record, hold CPR/First Aid certification, and possess reliable transportation.
 
Set yourself apart: Bilingualism is a plus, and holding a teaching certificate would be an additional asset.
 
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am/9 am - 3 pm
 
Pay: $40-45 per hour
