Interconnect Engineer (Network Engineer)

Littleton, CO

3 Months Contract to Hire

On-site only

As a successful Interconnect Engineer, you will have:

1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering)
2. 4 + years of Internet / Telecommunications network experience
3. Working knowledge of DNS and BGP; familiarity with virtualization & software-defined networking a plus
4. Correlate telemetry, establish benchmarks, and provide insights, transforming network operations to a highly proactive model
5. Familiarity with optical networking and interfaces
6. Ability to write detailed technical specifications
7. Ability to manage multiple commitments simultaneously
8. Understanding of traffic engineering, Internet access services, and Ethernet services
9. Understanding how throughput and performance metrics are obtained, processed, and stored
10. Knowledge of telecom industry partners and services
