Key Responsibilities:
* Vehicle Diagnosis and Repairs:
- Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise to diagnose and repair automotive issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid flushes.
* Certified Expertise:
- Ensure that all repair and maintenance work is performed in compliance with manufacturer standards and guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and advancements, attending training sessions and earning certifications as needed.
* Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality control checks on completed repairs to ensure the highest level of safety and customer satisfaction.
- Verify that all work meets Healdsburg Chevrolet's and industry standards.
* Efficient Workflow:
- Efficiently manage your work assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer needs.
- Collaborate with service advisors to discuss vehicle issues and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
* Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a safe work environment.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
* Customer Interaction:
* Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- A valid and current ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is required.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as knowledge of automotive software systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with Chevrolet vehicles is a plus but not mandatory.
