Job description
Part-Time.
20-25 hours per week, weekends a must.
6am - 2pm.
Vineyards Country Club is looking to hire a Café Specialist to work in our grab and go location. Must have some food and beverage knowledge and ability to compose menu item to go.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and distribute food and beverages in the Café. This will include, but not be limited to Smoothie’s, coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, snacks, breakfasts, and lunches.
- Demonstrate a friendly, welcoming, positive work attitude, contributing to the exceptional experience our members expect and deserve.
- Must be reliable and punctual, and available weekends.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating members’ needs.
- Ability to be self-motivated, initiate conversation, connect with members, and act with integrity and honesty.
- Must keep the Café area clean, proactively taking the initiative to wipe down all tables, push in chairs, take out garbage, and keep both front and back organized and neat.
- Be familiar with our products, and food line. Having the ability to educate our members on our food selections.
- Be able to do inventory monthly.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer-oriented atmosphere, preferably a hospitality environment.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Self-Motivated.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Must be a team player.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to be on their feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, squat, push, and do stairs without limitations.
