Job description
Java Architect
Hybrid
Location: The client has offices in both Basking Ridge, NJ and Dallas TX. Our first option is to have a candidate from either of these locations who would be expected to go on-site 2-3 times a week.
Our next preference would be someone located at any of our PS locations, also expected to go into offices 2-3 times per week.
Project Overview: Telecom Digital Transformation, on cloud and microservice architecture
Top 3 skill sets needed:
- 12+ years of overall experience on Java/j2ee technologies with deep expertise on Microservice and Spring Boot
- Experience in Digital Transformation and building ecommerce web application from inception to go live (retail, telecom preferred)
- Deep Understanding of Could Architecture (AWS or GCP or Azure), Performance Engineering
Education/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of overall experience on Java/j2ee technologies with deep expertise on Microservices and Spring Boot
- Experience in Digital Transformation and building ecommerce web application from inception to go live
- Retail domain experience a must, Telecom preferred
- Deep Understanding of Could Architecture (AWS or GCP or Azure)
- SRE skills (managing SLOs/SLIs including but not limited to Performance Engineering, Caching solutions, etc.)
- Strong experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage.
- Strong experience in defining and applying design standards, patterns, quality matrix depending on the solutions.
