Job Description:
Upscale, boutique California wine producer is seeking a national sales director.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 10 years experience in wine sales and be organized and motivated.
Applicants should have excellent relationships with best in class partners for distribution and retail sales.
Applicants should:
• Have an intimate understanding of fine wines
• Lead all aspects of national sales; including allocation strategy
• Develop and maintain successful relationships with distribution and e-tail partners
• Develop and maintain relationships with best in class service establishments and retail sales accounts
• Work with DTC and events team to organize and operate brand experience opportunities
• Work with ownership group to develop and implement sales and marketing strategy
• Work with winemaking team to understand products and sourcing
• Work with ownership group and marketing team to help develop sales and marketing materials
• Be willing to travel and available for business development conferences, seminars and educational events.
Compensation includes salary, commission and benefits.
