The ideal candidate has a degree in finance, great attention to detail and is familiar with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel such as PivotTables and VLOOKUPs. Junior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: 

• Maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, variances to plan, forecast and budget 

• Assist in aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting 

• Perform P&L review and analysis on a monthly basis 

• Identify and explain unusual financial and operational variance and collaborate on resulting actions and performance measurement 

• Provide ad hoc analytical forecasting, reporting and project support to senior management 

• Produce monthly reports which include key metrics, financial results and variance reporting 

• Maintain reporting schedule and deliverables across all finance and accounting to ensure timely and organized reporting  

• Ad-hoc projects as assigned  

 

Junior Financial Analyst Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance is required  

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Macros, etc.)

• Excellent communication and organization skills
