Summary :

Responsible for all day-to-day operations of Human Resources for SEi. Works closely with Senior Management to provide quality oversight, support and expertise about personnel matters, laws, industry trends, government regulations, health, and safety. Serves as a link between management and employees by handling personnel development and helping to resolve work-related problems.

Responsibilities:

In addition to Level III, assists in developing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives. Provides guidance and support to managers and employees, including compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management. Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR, including employment laws, labor relations, and health and safety regulations. Collaborating with senior leaders and other stakeholders to develop and implement overall business strategy

Essential Job Functions:

Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of administrative procedures. Manages paper files and electronic records. Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other HR-related software. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to interpret instructions both written and oral. Able to work as a team with co-workers to resolve work issues. Able to communicate effectively in English. Being bilingual is a plus.

Education and Experience:

College education preferred with experience in a similar position.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit long periods of time, view computer monitor, periodically walk and or travel to other areas of the plant as directed, occasionally exert push force up to 20 pounds, must have good eye sight and hand dexterity, and able to identify and distinguish colors.

Work Environment:

Within safety guidelines, there will be exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
