Yes Duties and Responsibilities Applications are invited for theoretical research on NIH-funded projects on viral hepatitis dynamics in vitro, in vivo and on the population level. This Research Assistant Professor position position will be based in the lab of Harel Dahari ( at Loyola University Chicago Medical Center. Skills: We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced scientist with mathematical and computational skills and a strong interest in viral dynamics. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in the core areas of the group's research; a track record of publications; and commitment to work to the highest standards. The candidate should have good programming skills, good working knowledge of one or more mathematical/computational modeling and statistical packages (e.g., Netlogo, Anylogic, Matlab, Python, Monolix, R) and excellent English (both written and oral). Education: A PhD (>4 years of postdoc training) in applied mathematics, statistics, computer or computational science, or mathematical biology is appropriate.
