Job Summary

Our client is currently seeking for a Maintenance Assistant whose role is to o perate floor sweep and forklift outside the plant buildings, clean shop rest rooms and empty all trash cans and maintain a clean and organized work area

 

Job Description

• Operate floor sweep and forklift outside the plant buildings
• Clean shop rest rooms and empty all trash cans
• Mop shop floors as needed with mop sweeper
• Pick up refuse from plant grounds as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with all HSE requirements

 

Skills Required

• Previous related experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Must be able to operate forklift
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

 

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED 

 

Additional Requirements

• Shift Hours: Day Shift, 6:00am – 2:00pm with OT as needed

 

Pay Rate/Salary

• $16.00 - $19:00/hr and more depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and/or location.
