Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of multi-state payroll experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple states. As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position is 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing:
• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and/or monthly payroll for employees accurately and on time.
• Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Multi-State Payroll Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all tax filing and reporting requirements across multiple states.
• Handle payroll tax deposits and reconcile payroll tax liabilities.
• Benefits Administration:
• Administer employee benefits deductions, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Payroll Systems Management:
• Maintain and update payroll records in the payroll system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and collaborate with IT or vendor support for resolution.
• Assist in the implementation of system upgrades or changes as needed.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate payroll reports for management and HR as required.
• Conduct periodic audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze payroll-related data and trends to identify areas for improvement and process optimization.
