Job description

•         Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, calibrate and test a wide variety of instrumentation (including but not limited to transmitters, actuators, environmental analyzers, sensors, Encoders, potentiometers, meters, tubing and control valves) for improved reliability and uptime. •         Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and metering control instruments to include but would not be limited to control valves, transmitters, heat trace panels, cylinders, solenoid valves etc. •         Troubleshoots telemetry and process controller hardware, maintains a functional knowledge of the operation of the telemetry system software and hardware. •         Read, interpret and perform wiring tasks according to specifications and schematics for the installation and repair of Corrugated equipment. •         Troubleshoot PLC, and software and hardware, making recommendations and performing software changes. •          Troubleshoots, repairs and installs wiring circuits, transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, Servo drives, protective devices, control devices, and lighting system in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. •         Safely work with a wide variety of precision hand and power tools related to field and shop work such as electronic and electric test equipment, etc. •         Work with other departments in the planning of and installation of new equipment and system upgrades. •         E&I Technicians perform a variety of maintenance related tasks in connection with the maintenance department to improve the reliability and uptime of equipment used in the Corrugating manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma
• Can lift 50+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen

• Must have at least four years’ experience working in an industrial maintenance environment as a Journeyman level E&I Technician or two years’ experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment as a Journeyman Electrician or Instrument Technician and two years formal education (certified trade school program) in either Electrical or Instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge and experience in computer usage.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts
• Must be able to pass a multi-phase physical.
