JOB TITLE: E-Commerce Application Developer

LOCATION: Richardson, TX and hybrid role, may work from home

DUTIES:

• Participate at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities to formulate and define system scope and objectives.
• Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems taking into account computer equipment capacity, limitations and operating time to provide desired results.
• Provide technical advice and consultation on difficult analysis and programming problems that require advanced techniques.
• Participate in systems development and maintenance.
• Conduct analysis of complex data processing applications and prepare feasibility studies to evaluate user needs for new or revised systems.
• Coordinate the interfaces between major systems and programs to include the conceptualization, development, debugging, testing and implementation of complex program designs to meet user requirements.
• Investigate available hardware and software configurations and capabilities, and recommend optimal systems to meet applications objectives.
• Responsible for Java or Hybris programming or development, systems analysis and documentation standards.
• Prepare and present cost analysis and justification of data processing systems.
• Recommend system software modifications or changes to hardware configurations and complete a project phase as needed.
• Responsible for software development tools including Hybris, Java, jQuery, JavaScript, JUnit, Version Control and Spring Boot.
• Provide guidance and training to junior analysts or programmers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, or in a related/similar position.
• Experience therein to include 5 years performing Java or Hybris programming or development; using Hybris, Java, jQuery, JavaScript, JUnit and Version Control; and 1 year using Spring Boot.
• Work from home.
