ROLE

We need an experienced Sharepoint Programmer / Developer at the Marine Corps Public Health Center (NMCPHC). NMCPHC provides leadership and expertise to ensure mission readiness in support of the National Military Strategy. NMCPHC’s core scientific and technical capabilities and product lines are to conduct Health Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Analysis; Disease and Injury Prevention; and PH Consultation and Support for the benefit of active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. In this role, you will assist in planning and designing systems architecture to support command requirements. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and implement SharePoint-based solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
• Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features and SharePoint Designer.
• Develop web parts, workflows, and custom solutions to enhance SharePoint capabilities.
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on SharePoint functionalities.
• Stay updated on emerging SharePoint trends, tools, and technologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree preferred
• Designed and implemented system architecture, testing, and security protocols

CLEARANCE

• U.S. citizenship required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Secret Security Clearance Required

• 8 hours per day

Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.
