What You’ll Do
The purpose of the Acute Quality Manager, RN is twofold; to ensure that CDI Health Client Hospitals are audit ready and to support client staff in running an effective acute dialysis program. You will accomplish this by serving as an extension of our client's clinical management team and offering your expertise in quality and clinical operations in the world of acute dialysis. You will be the face of CDI Health on-site at our contracted acute dialysis facilities and dedicate your work to supporting sustainable dialysis programs for our clients.
This position will not be responsible for staffing or direct dialysis team management.
- Responsibilities:
- Communicate and coordinate with all pertinent client and CDI staff to support ongoing operations.
- Develop strong relationships with hospital clinical leadership
- Conduct weekly/monthly quality audits to ensure compliance with Client and CDI Health Policies and Procedures in accordance with regulatory standards (CMS, TJC, etc.)
- Support overall Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.
- Create corrective action plans for any issues related to service delivery and coordinate with required personnel to execute plans.
- Responsible for reviewing any policy and procedure changes, updates and/or additions with dialysis unit managers.
- Support the supply and inventory process at all client facilities in coordination with the CDI Health Purchasing Team. This will include performing or delegating supply ordering, inventory, stocking and delivery to external facilities.
- Support the onboarding of new facilities in your immediate area onto contracted services in coordination with the CDI Health Implementation Team.
- There is potential for local units to be supported in the future. This role will require up to 30% travel: 2 trips per month, 2-3 days at a time.
Experience Required
- 4+ years of experience in Acute Dialysis as a Registered Nurse with the following modalities: Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis
- 2+ years of experience in Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse leadership
- Experience with QAPI, data compilation, and reporting required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Current knowledge of dialysis compliance and regulation
- Experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training in a healthcare environment.
- Background in implementing and stand up of acute dialysis unit. (preferred)
Education:
- Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- CPR and AHA BLS certifications
