Job description
Now hiring Service Technicians for a facility in Ocala, FL.
Candidate will be doing ambulance remounts and new truck upgrades on firetrucks. This will consist of installing new accessories, cutting holes in the vehicle, and running wires through the vehicle. Candidate could install upgraded lights, speakers, and other electrical accessories. They will troubleshoot and repair pumps on firetrucks. Candidate will need to be comfortable removing old parts or wiring to install new components. Candidates will work with computers to transfer programs from a computer to a truck/vehicle. This will be custom repair/refurbishment and candidate must be able to problem solve and perform a variety of repairs. Could have to grind parts of the vehicle as needed. Will only work on the body of the vehicle - there is no work required on the engine or other mechanical components. Candidates will work off of work orders.
Responsible for repairing and servicing hire-emergency vehicles. In addition, the candidate must be able to solve problems and conduct repairs with safety and accuracy while being called upon to perform assembly and light manufacturing tasks.
