JOB SUMMARY:
As the Senior Product Management - Software, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic vision and leadership for the company's marketplace platform. You are an entrepreneur at heart and will drive the rapid development of our new software platform and integration of marketplace content and partnerships. You will focus on creating products and systems which enable partners and content to be added to the platform and remove friction from the discovery and purchase process for our customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define the strategic direction for the company's system management product offering, encompassing fleet management, charger management, integrated services, and energy management. This includes identifying capabilities, creating roadmaps, and determining key features.
- Champion the voice of the customer and ensure that product development aligns with the company's growth strategy.
- Be a champion of a data-driven and customer-focused culture and be passionate about data, data analytics and data science
- Influence product decisions to lay the foundation for any advanced analytics/machine learning initiatives in the future.
- Gather product requirements for new features and products, prioritizing them based on market demand for fleet management and energy management offerings.
- Conduct customer interviews and market research to understand customer operations and identify meaningful problems that can be solved through product innovation.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Corporate Development to lead product launch activities.
- Develop product roadmaps that align with the overall business strategy.
- Optimize the customer journey, from sales to deployment and operational capabilities, by creating a seamless process that facilitates scalability.
- Lead cross-functional execution planning, working closely with teams such as marketing, sales, customer success, operations, engineering, program management, and finance. This includes defining business cases, priorities, roadmaps, requirements, delivery plans, and solution lifecycle management.
- Contribute to the design of the go-to-market strategy, encompassing channel strategy and partnerships.
- Drive resolution of technical issues through direct management and collaboration with the senior management team, other managers, directors, and engineers involved in development and test engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of marketplace development strategies and integration of partners.
- Understanding of managing data across multiple verticals to gain insights and create value.
- Familiarity with fleet telematics and fleet management strategies, including efficiency, maintenance, and uptime.
- Understanding of the utility industry, infrastructure, and power distribution capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills within a team environment.
- Ability to resolve complex issues through analysis and utilize strategic business, technical, and product knowledge to present and support corporate objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field of study.
- 5+ years of software platform related experience
- Experience using ML/AI to accelerate delivery and contextual recommendations
