Hiring Manager - Arrow Security NYC Region

As a key asset to our NYC leadership team and spirited contributor to our "We Care" employee culture, the Hiring Manager oversees vital transactions of new employee hiring and onboarding processes, serving as a liaison with Operations to target daily recruitment efforts and assist in distributing new hire apparel. The Hiring Manager engages on-site with candidates, branch team members and functional leaders, bringing an attention to detail and conscientiousness to all efforts to promote an enriching work climate.

Performing in cross-departmental design, the Hiring Manager aligns with fellow staf, branch teams and functional leaders to foster best practices that are compliant with federal/state regulations and respectful of our company policies and protocols, committing to the integrity of our Arrow mission to provide an exceptional client and employee experience.

. Essential Job Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to local onboarding and recruitment teams
• Ensure all required new hire onboarding paperwork is completed in adherence to Federal and NY regulations.
• Partner with branch Operational leaders to target daily efforts toward staffing and hiring efforts.
• Navigate main floor space to ensure tasks and activities are completed with efficiency
• Participates in daily, weekly and monthly reporting at a branch and corporate level.
• Operate fluidly in a matrixed reporting structure to ensure technical guidance, professional development and appropriate staffing resources.

• Manage a range of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
• Manage and track timekeeping records for team members, participate in required performance management efforts and serve as a positive, influential leader.
• Performs other duties as assigned at a branch or corporate level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years' supervisory experience in a fast-paced hiring environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field desired
• Working knowledge of employment practices; demonstrated knowledge of Federal/State requirements
• Thrives in working in a matrixed environment
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills combined with sound judgment
• Customer service focus for internal customers
