Job description
Sanctuary Medicinals, FL is looking for one Social Media Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsible for developing and executing companys social media strategy to engage its audience through creative video and static assets, drive brand awareness, and promote the brand and its events/promotions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals and brand identity.
- Manage and maintain all social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) by creating and curating engaging content.
- Plan and schedule posts, monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and social media platform changes to ensure the company’s content remains fresh and relevant.
Content Creation:
- Create and produce high-quality, visually appealing content, including photos, videos, and graphics, that showcase the company’s brand, events, and experiences.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to develop compelling content.
- Write and edit engaging and informative captions, posts, and stories.
3. Community Building:
- Foster and grow the company’s online community by engaging with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Work with executive management to execute influencer partnerships and collaborations to expand the company’s reach.
- Encourage user-generated content and run social media contests and campaigns to increase user engagement.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of content and campaigns.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Provide regular reports to the management on social media performance and ROI.
5. Crisis Management:
- Be prepared to handle social media crises and respond professionally to negative comments or reviews.
- Work with the appropriate departments to resolve issues and maintain a positive online reputation.
6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including Human Resources, Guest Relations, Revenue, and Entertainment, to support various company’s initiatives.
- Assist in areas of need during special events to ensure the overall success of the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, social media management tools, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content.
- Experience with photography and videography
- Graphic design and video editing skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Able to walk, and sit for prolonged periods
- Able to work in a standing position for strong periods
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in a variety of environments: indoor, outdoor, and various weather conditions and temperatures
- Able to operate phones, computers, and other standard office equipment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be and remain compliant with any legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must pass all required background and fingerprint checks.
- Assist in other departments as requested by your direct manager.
