Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to cover a leave for the HR Manager from approximately May - mid August 2024. These dates are inclusive of several weeks of training and overlap with the HR Manager and have some flexibility on the start.
The HR Manager is a key member of the Human Resources office and provides critical support to the function of the department as well as excellent customer service to our district staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a school HR administrative or leadership role
Knowledge of school district functions and reporting requirements and procedures
Ability to work with Infinite Visions software with minimal support
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Key Responsibilities:
FMLA requests
Extra duty/timesheets Personnel Report
IMRF enrollments and terminations
Verification of employment for TRS and IMRP
Substitute Report
IDES notices
Absence management system
Payroll folders
Offering classified positions and completing personnel records
New hire contracts
EIS reporting
Other duties as assigned
District Information:
District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
Hours and Compensation:
This is a temporary full time in person position compensated at 37.5 hours per week, M-F 8:00 pm - 4:00 pm. There may be some flexibility in hours.
The rate of pay is $30 per hour.
