Description

Responsible to help monitor and improve the quality processes implemented to ensure customer satisfaction. To administer and support the facilities training needs. To make continuous improvements to the processes that ensure we meet company training, quality, and profitability requirements. Requires proficient communication skills, along with attention to detail. Prior training skill sets and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate all the training activities for the current shift.
2. Meet with Production leaders at shift start to coordinate daily training needs
3. Daily work with Training SMEs to ensure training plan for each trainee
4. Ensure proper training documents are utilized and completed
5. Determine when trainee is properly trained
6. Help gather information to answer Customer Concerns investigations
7. Gather and file all QC Pulls from the prior shift
8. Verify all "Match job" QC pulls have matching component
9. Help production gather quality issue data
10. Determine the scope of the issue and quarantine product when necessary
11. If meets threshold, document, and start the root cause and corrective action activity
12. Monitor and audit quality Assurance processes throughout the shift
13. Hold a high regard for safety and inform leaders immediately if unsafe acts or environments are identified.
14. Continually monitor QA and Training documents and make recommendations for improvements
15. Help with the corrective actions of quality issues, may include SOP training for production staff
16. Exercise independent judgement and make recommendations for improvement.
17. Both written and verbal crossover communication with next shift about status of quality issues, and training needs
18. Participate in 6S/Lean manufacturing initiative.
19. Complete other tasks as requested by Leader/Shift Leader.
