Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipley-certified Proposal
Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Shipley-certified Proposal Writer, you
will play a crucial role in creating winning proposals that showcase our
organization's strengths and secure business opportunities. Your expertise in
Shipley's best practices will be instrumental in maximizing our success in the
competitive world of proposal development.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals,
ensuring adherence to the Shipley methodology throughout the process.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer requirements,
competitive landscape, and industry trends, translating them into persuasive
proposal content.
- Write, edit, and proofread proposal sections, ensuring accuracy, coherence,
and compliance with proposal guidelines.
- Develop clear and concise executive summaries, value propositions, win themes,
and other critical proposal elements.
- Manage proposal schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely
delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Conduct proposal reviews, incorporating feedback from subject matter experts
and stakeholders to continuously enhance the quality of proposals.
- Maintain a repository of proposal templates, boilerplate content, and
reusable materials in alignment with Shipley best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, proposal best practices, and emerging
technologies to continuously improve proposal development processes.
Qualifications: - Shipley-certified Proposal Writer with a strong understanding of Shipley's
proposal development methodology.
- Proven track record of successfully developing winning proposals in a
competitive business environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and synthesize information
from various sources.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals
simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using proposal development tools, software, and Microsoft
Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder
relationships effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet
tight deadlines.
