As an intern within the HR department, you will learn about Yokohama and how the HR team supports the organization across all levels. You will have the opportunity to gain real-word corporate experience, expand your basic knowledge of HR responsibilities through project-based work, and gain exposure to common HRIS systems.
- Work with Senior HR Coordinator to plan Yokohama’s Family Day, Summer Event; calling vendors, location research, tracking expenses, ordering decorations, and supporting with other activities related to event.
- Support wellness initiatives including desk drops, and drafting CooLeaf and email campaigns.
- Assist Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist on full-cycle recruitment with the objective of completing at least one new hire.
- Work with HR Manager on training initiatives, reviewing training materials to push out through Cornerstone.
- Support payroll in the completion of scanning and discarding payroll files.
- Support Document Cloud project
- Complete AdHoc audits and analysis
- Complete filing tasks
- Effective communication skills
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Current enrollment in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university within a related major OR graduated within 6 months within a related major such as HR, Business, Communications, Sociology.
- Ability to work 20 hours /week
- Must attach copy of unofficial transcript.
