Job description
The Product Owner/Technical Lead will help set the vision for the overall program and then deliver mission solutions. The Product Owner must have experience leading small to mid-sized teams and working with medium to large-sized applications as part of the software baseline development.
We are developing an application for the Product Director Combat Terrain Information Systems (PD-CTIS). The software includes automated capabilities for capturing geospatial information in the field. Written in C#/.NET, the software leverages a combination of proprietary and open-source software and APIs, including:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Leading Agile development and integration teams including an understanding of the Product
- Owner role, Scrum Master role, Sprint planning, User Story estimation and Kanban board implementation
- Collaborating with prospective users and customer to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Defining the vision for the team’s product and creating a product road map based on this vision
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design, development, integration and test
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Developing and recommending corrective actions and process improvements as necessary
- Collaborating with the development team and end-users to deliver updates
- Conducting code reviews and mentoring Software Engineers to facilitate skill and knowledge development
- Full Stack development, building both Web and Desktop applications
- Working in a Windows environment
