Office Administrator/Accounting Assistant
St. Cloud, MN
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), overtime may be required
Position Type: Full Time, Hourly
Report To: CFO
Position Summary:
The Office Administrator/Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting in fundamental aspects of financial recordkeeping and transactions related to the accounting department. This position will work closely with the Accounting Department and office staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with Accounts Payable
Assist with Accounts Receivable
Assist with Sales Register and ensure that accurate data is reported
Assist with reporting
Prepare financial statements and reports as necessary
Process quarterly sales tax reports
Process check runs
Assist with month end account closure, report preparation and reconciliation
Track and update various logs and spreadsheets
Ordering office supplies
Filing and other administrative duties
Other duties & projects as assigned
Qualifications and Education:
Associates Degree in accounting related subject required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or administrative/support role emphasized on accounting
At least 1 year of experience in QuickBooks

Experienced in understanding and applying accounting principles
Experienced in understanding financial statements
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel is a must, Access is a plus!)

Maintains a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Ability to multi-task different projects with a time management focus
Team oriented but also enjoys work independently
