Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Instructor of Russian Language and Literature

Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of German, Russian and East Asian Languages to teach two courses: Russian 102 (Elementary Russian II) and Russian 217 (Twentieth-Century Russian Literature, taught in English translation). Each course will meet two times a week for 80 minutes. The courses will be taught in person beginning January 14, 2024; the employment period extends for two weeks following the completion of the spring 2024 semester on April 24, 2024. The rank will be Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Instructor, depending on qualifications, and the salary is $7000 per course. Applicants should possess at minimum an M.A. in Russian language/literature/pedagogy, or a related field. Teaching experience preferred.
