Position Overview: Are you a talented Senior Back End Developer looking to make a significant impact? Join our Clinic Platform team, where you'll contribute to building a global platform, clinical workflows, automations, and analytics to enhance the experience for both members and the clinic care team. Responsibilities: Engage in web application development, specializing in either cloud infrastructure technologies (Micro-services Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS, NoSQL) and/or JS frameworks (Vue, Angular, or React), in addition to proficiency in HTML5 and CSS. Demonstrate strong programming skills in Java and/or JavaScript, coupled with in-depth knowledge of JS frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, etc.) and responsive, adaptive web design principles. Utilize experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Amazon DynamoDB, NoSQL, etc. Design services for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. Showcase problem-solving and debugging skills with direct experience in a SaaS environment, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call responsibilities. Develop backend microservices using technologies like Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, Time Series databases, Message Queues, Docker, etc. Create automated unit tests and integration tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality, defect-free code. Establish integrations with 3rd party software systems. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in JavaScript & Java - Software Engineer. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Masters would be a plus. Proven experience in developing production software in Java for high-scale applications. Familiarity with SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and distributed systems. Exposure to Stream Processing technologies like Apache Spark or Apache Storm is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Domain experience in healthcare, biosensors, or related areas would be a plus, though not required.
