Job Summary:
The Manager, Sales Communication & Integration is a key role for the Disneyland Resort Sales Solutions team and will lead important projects to support Sales Integration & Business Development. The scope of this role is broad as it will lead the planning, integration, and execution of important projects across the Sales organization. Examples of these projects include: working with sales leaders and site partners to develop and execute Sales marketing strategies and tactics, supporting DRTSC Customer Experience (improving the guest experience) initiatives to provide a world-class contact center, and ensuring the successful execution and integration of important sales communications among third-party clients and travel industry partners as well as from client to consumer. This role is a cornerstone to maximizing the Sales organization’s value to DLR.
You will report to the Director - Sales Integration & Business Development.
Responsibilities/You Will:
- Identify Sales related needs/effects of site-based projects and collaborate with leadership to develop a coordinated plan for execution
- Be a consultant and strategic partner to leadership, travel trade partners, clients, and other teams to understand Sales audience needs and craft appropriate plans
- Participate in continuous improvement processes to provide accurate information to important partners with a focus on the integration of Sales’ perspectives and needs
- Collaborate extensively with all sales channel leaders and marketing partners to facilitate the development and use of channel tactics
- Serve as a key liaison between the sales team and marketing strategy partners to ensure the development of distribution tools needed to achieve annual growth goals
- Lead development process for sales channel communication tools
- Coordinate social media initiatives to engage travel professional partners
- Design onboarding and continuous training materials for use by team members and select sales clients
- Support DRTSC projects as needed including evolving work around Customer Experience initiatives
- Lead the prioritization of sales communication and integration projects
- Unlock new opportunities to educate Cast, consumers and clients in the planning and purchase of Disneyland Resort vacations
- Support Sales initiatives that focus on the guest, cast, and client experience
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have:
- 5 years or more experience in travel industry sales, marketing or communications-related field
- Experience developing critical project plans, managing timelines, and driving integration efforts
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Outstanding communication skills, particularly in the form of deck writing that can influence people at all levels in an organization
- Experience crafting marketing strategies and tactics (including social media) with an understanding of the latest technologies
- Strong networking skills and ability to partner with all levels of Cast Members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro
- Experience in social media monitoring
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (sales, communication, marketing)
The hiring range for this position is $112,100.00-$150,200.00 The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
