Front Desk Coordinator
Come join our growing team of Pediatric Professionals. Providing Early Intervention services throughout Northwest Indiana and Out Patient services at our Chesterton location. We are opening new part time, full time, and consultant positions in Occupational, Speech, and Developmental therapy departments. Feel free to request a tour and meet future colleagues.

Purpose of Roles:
For the Front Desk Coordinator position, you will be required to coordinate, facilitate and promote the operations of the Jacob’s Ladder Center clinic
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to learn and competently operate billing/documentation/scheduling software.
- Excellent customer service skills with patients and their families and the insurance providers/3rd party payers.
- Able to communicate well with other staff members so as to maximize job efficiency and minimize staff conflict.
- Able to multi-task job duties in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Demonstrates good time management skills by coordinating daily job duties to meet the needs of the organization.
- Able to accurately file documents/charts on a consistent basis.
- Work with the billing department to facilitate coordination of insurance/third party billing.
- Collect copays and other customer fees as directed by billing supervisor.
- Consistently reconciles collections accurately.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Prefer candidates with one or more years of experience in a rehabilitation/reception position
Licenses/Certificates:
- Must have a valid Indiana driver’s license and current auto insurance.
