Job Title: UX Designer
Work Location :Hybrid 2565 Augustine Dr., Santa Clara, CA 95054
4-days in office weekly is required (no exceptions)
Work Schedule :Full Time Monday-Friday
Length of Assignment: Initial (3-6) months but possibility of extension and conversion to full time depending on performance and team fit
Job Description:
Design the experience and interaction between users and the product or service.
Specific duties include:
- Researching and understanding user needs and behaviors through methods such as user interviews, surveys, and analytics data
- Creating user personas and user flows to identify key user journeys and pain points. Create mind maps, user flows
- Understand front-end development process and limitations (basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus)
- Understand, apply and promote our design thinking and design system
- Collaborating with stakeholders, such as Product Managers and Developers, to create design concepts and prototypes that align with business goals and technical constraints
- Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from users to refine and iterate on designs based on research
- Creating detailed design specifications and documentation for Developers to implement
- Continuously iterating on designs and testing new features to improve the user experience
- Creating hi-fidelity and low fidelity designs for multiple platforms such as mobile, web
- Creating a prototype for user testing and validation.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent. If no bachelor s degree, will accept 10+ years of experience
Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience
- Must be proficient in visual design and Figma.
- Have experience with enterprise SaaS products.

- Understand cloud-native app development (DevOps, Agile Methodology, microservices, cloud platforms, containers like Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD)
- Plan own tasks considering collaboration with the team
- Willingness to iterate, learn, and improve based on feedback
- Share knowledge with other team members and help to improve design maturity.
- Support written and verbal communication in order to plan further work, explain and document ideas
- Advanced proficiency with Figma a great designer
- Experience with enterprise SaaS products enterprise selling, ie. ecommerce (shopping cart journey or similar) experience a plus. NOT on the consumer segment.
- Should have an understanding of business process and how the business works, not just technical knowledge
- VERY IMPORTANT: Able to create/ideate concepts and design based on discussions with stakeholders.
- Out-of-the-box thinking and making sense of ambiguity, using this as a starting point to ideate the design
- Less task oriented (place the button here, move the banner here) and more strategic and consultative mindset.
- Able to lean in on the visual design based on the use case
- Independent worker and able to take the initiative, no hand holding.
