West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery seeks a General Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of general surgery with expertise in complex abdominal wall hernia repair and foregut surgery. The hired surgeon will participate in general surgery call. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a general surgery residency program, as well as a Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible by the American Board of Surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
