Job description
Lab Technician for 3+ month contract at Global Device Company in Garland, TX
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of data center operations and infrastructure, coupled with technical proficiency in relevant areas.
- Experience as engineering support technician or similar role
- Ability to build and move racks, manage hardware equipment, and perform software updates
- Ensure the equipment is running optimally for the engineers as they use the equipment for testing
- The ability to work collaboratively with excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates proactive problem-solving, adept at working in ambiguous situations, and excels in thinking outside the box.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with Mac OS.
- Proficient in running simple scripts, hands-on troubleshooting, and organic triaging (non-scripted)
Location: Garland, TX (100% Onsite)
Type: 3+ month contract
Hourly Range: $59/hr - $69/hr (DOE)
