Requirements
Responsibilities:
- The Pool/Beach attendant is responsible for providing efficient & professional beach and pool side service to guests.
- Job Summary
- Assists guests with setting up beach/pool chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
- Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner and ensures all guest contact is courteous, informative, and thorough. Thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
- Always ensures cleanliness and order of pool and beach areas, including chairs, umbrellas, tables, garbage cans, restrooms, and locker room.
- Responds to all guests needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provides guests with clean towels as requested.
- Properly sets up pool, beach, and locker room stations daily.
- Monitors pool/beach entrance areas to ensure only OP registered guests are accessing areas and removes any unregistered guests when necessary.
- Folds/prepares pool towels for distribution.
- Distribute appropriate number of pool towels for each registered room ensuring all documentation has been completed with appropriate information and signatures. Continues to update documents during the day to ensure collection of used towels and recording of return to each registration card. Accuracy is required for daily accounting documentation and charging of all unreturned towels.
- Communicates hotel menus and services in an accurate and courteous manner.
- Assists as food runner during slower beach entrance/exit times and higher food sales volume.
- Performs related duties as assigned Qualifications:
- High School diploma preferred • Job related experience in a similar setting preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff verbally and in written form.
- Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekend, holidays, early morning and mid-day/early evening. Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
