Job description

The senior director of communications leads a team dedicated to a strategy of proactive, comprehensive, and continuous storytelling that serves to enhance the college’s visibility, strengthen its reputation, and inspire its many constituencies.

The position reports to the vice president for marketing and communications and works closely with divisional peers leading the marketing and design/multimedia teams. The position also coordinates closely with the division’s director of public relations, who also reports to the vice president and who is responsible for media relations, institutional announcements, issues management, and emergency/crisis communications.
