What We Need:
Due to our rapid growth, we're on the lookout for a vibrant Technical Writer to join our force! As a Technical Writer, you'll be the creative mind behind documents such as Request for Information (RFI), whitepapers, Request for Proposals (RFP), and more. Picture yourself spending 75% of your time crafting and editing proposals, responses to RFIs, whitepapers, and the remaining 25% developing market-facing materials for a Federal Government audience.

Opportunity:
Remote, 1099 part-time opportunity.
Core business hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
Job Summary:
Dive into proposal concepts by studying RFPs, RFIs, and engaging with subject matter experts.
Gather information from various sources and conduct interviews to understand expertise for creating clear publications.
Develop proposal content, outlining solutions, outcomes, and benefits with compelling text.
Organize and prepare technical publications for a Federal Government audience, showcasing in-depth knowledge of IT and management consulting services.
Support the Proposal Manager throughout the proposal process, ensuring deadlines are met and proposal status is communicated effectively.
Write, edit, and revise Federal Government proposal responses, whitepapers, RFIs, and marketing material.
Maintain high-quality results following proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.
Contribute to proposal graphics development and assist in designing company website content.
Required Skills/Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional writing and grammatical skills.
6+ years of technical proposal writing experience for Federal Government RFPs, RFIs, with understanding of the Shipley methodology.
Experience in writing technical proposals for software development, IT operations, cloud, etc.
Familiarity with Oracle technologies (Oracle RDBMS, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, etc.).
Understanding of win themes, proposal concepts, and the business development lifecycle.
Experience working with subject matter experts and graphic designers.
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field preferred.
Ability to obtain a public trust.
Other Requirement:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary: $ 37.00 Per Hour
