Job Summary

Be part of a team of skilled analysts responsible for supporting Field and Metering Processes. Primary responsibility in supporting strategic initiatives, operational performance, reporting and trend analysis.

Job Responsibilities

•Provide analytical support of business operations – develop solutions to data requests, maintain operational reports and queries for data gathering, conduct analysis of work processes and provide ad hoc reporting as needed by investigating, analyzing, and developing solutions to requests.

•Supports development, implementation and evaluation of strategic initiatives, new programs/products, business plans, performance measurement and database management to Field & Metering Operations.

•Maintain, develop, implement, and document new procedures for new processes and communicate to affected users to ensure knowledge, transfer, and compliance.

•Monitor business controls, verify, maintain, and report operational results, scorecard targets, and initiatives. Prepare status reports for department leadership.

•Ability to extract, format, analyze, and validate report information and develop appropriate communication materials. Execute CCS-SAP queries. Review and monitor reports to ensure alignment with departmental goals.

•Provide technical expertise and support to Field & Metering Operations process owners.

•Utilize Tableau, MDT, CAD, MS Access, Excel, Power Point, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP, Customer Care System

or other systems as needed to provide data, ad hoc reports, analysis, and recommendations which foster continuous process improvement.

•Actively participate in problem solving initiatives to determine root cause, gap analysis and process improvements as needed. Provide input and refinement, understanding and enhanced utilization of process measures and benchmarking.

•Investigate client/customer concerns, issues, and problems to determine root causes. Recommend solutions and develop action plans

•Understand & maintain Sarbanes Oxley controls pertaining to Revenue Controls

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

• BS degree, preferably in Business or Computer Science and three years of relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, seven years’ relevant work experience

• Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Power Point, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP, Customer Care System

• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, analytical capability, and strategic thinking.

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity

• Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices

Desired:

•2+ years Field & Metering Operations experience including an understanding of the meter-to-cash process

•Knowledge of Tableau, MDT, CAD

•Knowledge of Customer Operations processes and procedures as well as knowledge of utility tariff and administrative and accounting procedures.
