Proposal Strategist

Job description

-Develop proposal plan, draft storyboards, develop proposal and win strategy, proposal team assignments, and initial proposal management plan.
-Bring outstanding creative, organizational, and interpersonal skills to lead pursuit teams through challenging requirements and overlapping schedules. These skills and a flexible attitude are essential for building relationships at all levels of our organization and managing multiple deadlines in our dynamic environment.
-Write and edit concise content that stays on message, meets client requirements, and adheres to firmwide style and brand guidelines. Our proposals must reflect client's commitment to high quality and client success.
-Conduct color reviews (pink, red and gold team) and adjust marketing materials in response to reviews and requests.
-Conduct review of the go/no-go decision, official proposal kickoff meeting, and the development of graphics and visuals.
-Perform post-submittal activities including, shortlist interview preparation and proposal closeout tasks.
-Develop messaging and graphics that highlight our key strengths, translate complex concepts, and inspire enthusiasm for the important work we deliver to our communities. This position requires top-notch writing skills and an eye for layout and infographics.
-Our team uses Shipley and APMP best practices and methods. Certification is not required but understanding of these proposal management models is preferred.

Qualifications
-Bachelor Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. and 4 years in marketing, business development, or sales with a professional services firm. Experience at an A/E firm preferred.
-Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
-Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
-Graphic design skills preferred.
-Experience with the Shipley best practice model a plus.
-APMP certification a plus.

Salary: $ 32.00 40.00 Per Hour
