Job Description
As a Microsoft D365 Principal Software Engineer you will be part of a growing Dynamics team focusing on Finance and Operations. You will be a lead engineer in the business applications engineering organization developing features and requirements for Vuori using SOLID engineering principles and ensuring proper test coverage. This role will assist other engineers with blockers and provide escalation support to the business. This role will be critical to the success of the Company’s design, testing, and implementation of Microsoft D365 with ongoing business support and future development after implementation in 2023.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand Vuori’s overall business mission, vision, and direction to ensure the design, development and implementation of solutions are aligned and meet business requirements.
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices.
- Develop custom D365 application components based on user requirements when appropriate using .NET, X++, C#
- Create classes, table, and form extensions, extend data types and base enumerations, add functionality to model elements and source code as needed to meet business requirements
- Testing, QA and debugging of new software
- Supports the implementation and continuous improvement to D365 F&O and integration by using strong knowledge and experience of D365 F&O application to increase system performance.
- Issue/Bug code resolutions
- Review existing and new X++ code based on performance aspects and best practices
- Environment code promotions and moves
- Work cooperatively with others on a team to share information, resolve conflicts, and make decisions
- Ensure that modifications, extensions, and modifications are well documented
- Understanding of cloud architecture and administration
- Demonstrate industry best practices and how they would be delivered in the solution
Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in a Computer Science or relevant field
- 13+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O Software Development lifecycle including developing features and requirements.
- Experience with implementation, upgrade, migration, and deployment
- Experience working in Agile delivery methods and with Azure DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD processes in relation to Dynamics 365
- Credible and professional presence, good written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries
- Experience developing solutions involving Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power BI, and Azure
- Knowledge of current D365F&O including best practices with X++
- SQL experience

Pay Range: From $162,000-$190,000/yr
