JG Custom Cabinetry & Design is looking for an experienced kitchen & bath cabinet engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the engineering process from start to finish.
- Analyze and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Develop custom cabinetry plans while ensuring optimal use of materials, utilizing construction framework, maximizing manufacturing processes, and streamlining installation.
- Generate cut lists, shop drawings, and production paperwork as needed.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of custom cabinetry for client approval.
- Create job-specific production machinery computer code files for work orders.
- Collaborate closely with our design and production teams to transform conceptual designs into tangible masterpieces.
- Develop a cabinet library with our engineering software that fits within a construction framework, emphasizing value engineering.
ESSENTIALS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Extensive experience with cabinet engineering software or similar software.
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction, millwork, kitchen, and bath design.
- Must be extremely organized and process extensive amounts of information quickly and efficiently.
- Highly proficient with computers and fluent in MS Office.
- A fun and outgoing personality with high energy is key.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high quality and commitment to project timeframes.
- Strong sense of integrity, consistency, hunger, and being able to follow up on tasks.
- Great communication skills & professional attitude.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with Mozaik, 20/20 Insight, or Microvellum Software.
- Experience in CNC interface and programming.
- Knowledge of popular cabinet accessories and hardware.
- Experience with custom cabinet design, fabrication, and installation.
- Experience in developing a product catalog.
