Job Summary

Our client is seeking for Equipment Operator who can do Under direct supervision, set up, monitor, and operates various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection. May included operation of multiple machines at one time.

Job Description

• Under direct supervision, set up, monitor, and operates various piece of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, marline, plastic extruder, PCP injection.
• May included operation of multiple machines at one time.
• Could also include repair, patching or splicing cable. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.

• This position will be basically running a coiler and changing reels.
• This site manufacture reinforced polypipe use to run oil underground.

Skills Required

• Minimum 6 months previous manufacturing experience
• Hand Tools, Power Tool experience
• Forklift experience (Nice to have but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret routine instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or obtain certification.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Steel toe shoes needed
• Shift Hours:

• Night 7:00pm – 7:00am Monday - Friday
• Day 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday - Friday
• Saturdays optional (OT required)

Pay Rate/Salary

• $22.00/hr
