As a Maintenance Inventory Technician, you will: - Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
- Maintain storeroom item levels.
- Maintain storeroom security.
- Provide assistance and guidance to production and maintenance personnel to identify correct equipment parts/items.
- Maintain organization of requisitions and purchase orders.
- Watch for redundant purchase requests, redundant part numbers or locations, and make sure to handle them promptly; decline or correct redundancy.
- Must be proficient in setting up requisitions and purchase orders. Electronically and hardcopy.
- Communicate Purchase Order information and details with Suppliers.
- Provide lead time for all Purchase Order items. Must follow up daily on purchase orders that are approaching due, due, or past due.
- Responsible for all physical ordering of all storeroom items.
- Responsible for managing UPS, Fed Ex. Etc. Shipments.
- Maintain storeroom items. No shortages.
- Maintain the storeroom organization.
- Maintain accountability of storeroom items. Sign out procedures.
- Ensure the primary/preferable vendors are set in the system with all contact information, name, email, phone, fax, and title.
- Update pricing for parts.
- Must be able to rebuild various machine sub-assemblies to original factory specs.
- Clean various Nordson parts and assemblies according to procedure with chemicals or heaters.
- Assist with parts return to stock.
- Assist with work order and preventative maintenance kitting.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Complete line audits for metal containment, PPE, and used parts.
Shift: Tuesday thru Friday (3PM - 1AM) Education and Experience: - High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical technical training preferred
- Hands on experience with maintenance shop equipment preferred
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory records.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Must be able to read and interpret work documents
- Must have the ability to learn SAP
- Must have the ability to work in teams
- Must have the ability to perform basic math
- Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
- Able to read and understand various measuring tools.
- Able to read and understand technical drawing and blueprints.
- Ability to navigate thru Auto Cad. Open, view, modify drawings.
- Able to technically understand the basics of various machine items.
- Ability to communicate with outside venders and suppliers in effort to obtain items at the most cost-efficient means.
- Ability to discuss technical information regarding equipment repair with outside vendors.
- Ability to negotiate positive results surrounding any supply issues.
- Caring attitude, pride in your work and the plant.
- Self-motivated and hard-working.
- High-energy and commitment to high performance in a busy, multi-task work environment.
- Ability to keep accurate work orders, parts orders, inventory and service/tenant follow-up.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
