Freight Broker Agent Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 /annually
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
- Generate new business and assist with the growth of our established customer base.
- Generate and quote shipments to customers and carriers via phone, email, or text.
- Manage all aspects related to shipments being transported via phone, email, or text ensuring load is delivered on time and in the intended condition.
- Communicate to customers and carriers effectively, timely and accurately via email, text, and phone.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and required service levels at met daily.
- Accomplish realistic company goals with the support of the team.Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
Freight Broker Agent Qualifications:
- The Ideal candidate must have 2 years of documented freight brokering experience.
- Current customer relationships with brokerage opportunities are required.
- This candidate will be self-driven and possess strong analytical and technical skills that can be used to produce creative solutions.
- Be able to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to quickly analyze information/written communications and identify potential issues.
- Candidate must have extensive computer knowledge – Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products Trouble shooting skills, very organized and a positive demeaner.
