Job Summary As the Director of E-commerce, you will play a pivotal role in leading, shaping and executing the e-commerce strategy for Fielmann USA. Leveraging your extensive experience in driving revenue growth, managing fast-growing e-commerce operations, and leading high-performing teams, you will be responsible for leading and executing our e-commerce strategy, operations, and growth.
Key Responsibilities E-commerce strategy and leadership : - Develop, lead and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives and growth targets.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience leveraging core brand pillars and differentiation.
- Lead the development and integration of omni-channel strategies to create a cohesive and seamless customer experience across online and offline channels.
- Collaborate with relevant internal teams to deliver consistency in branding and customer interactions across touchpoints.
- Provide visionary leadership to a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Sales and Revenue Growth : - Drive e-commerce revenue growth by implementing effective usability, CX, conversion, merchandising, pricing and other strategies.
- Implement strategies to optimize onsite conversion rates, leveraging A/B testing, and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
- Leverage data analytics to identify and capitalize on trends and opportunities.
- Analyze and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the e-commerce budget and provide regular financial reporting to executive leadership.
Product Roadmap and delivery: - Lead end-to-end e-commerce product management and development from ideation and assessment through strategic execution.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of e-commerce technologies.
- Work closely with product development teams to introduce innovative solutions and features.
- Collaborate with IT, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to execute new initiatives and to streamline order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics.
- Lead cross-functionally to drive alignment and successful project execution.
Qualifications and Skills - 7-10 years of progressive experience in senior e-commerce leadership roles, preferably within large, fast-growing businesses.
- Proven success in driving substantial revenue growth and delivering high-quality e-commerce experiences.
- Direct experience in consumer retail industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce technologies, digital marketing, and omni-channel strategies.
- Proven experience managing an e-commerce budget.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with proficiency in analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
