Interim HealthCare of Brookings is hiring! We are seeking a LPN for our Personal Care & Support business who will work closely with field employees and homecare clients.
**The right person for this job will be very proficient in Microsoft Office products, have good communication skills, and have a fun, energetic, and outgoing personality! You will need to be personable, friendly and well-versed with effective communication and customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for assisting the Administrator/Manager in establishing and monitoring compliance with standards to ensure client/patient and field employee expectations are met or exceeded.
- Assists in screening, hiring, orienting, and retaining employees to meet the needs of the clients served.
- Receives referral calls, documents intake for client services, schedules care professionals for home care assignments.
- Conducts home visits
- Develops, evaluates, and supervises a group of qualified personal care staff.
- Coordinates training/education to enable staff to achieve assigned goals.
- Performs all office functions in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as all policies, procedures, and standards of Interim HealthCare.
- Analyzes and evaluates the business operations to ensure standards are followed.
- Ensures timely and accurate documentation of services provided by personal care staff.
- Promotes the agency through education of patient/client.
- Responsible for orders being filled by qualified personnel in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of client services.
- Responds to and resolves complaints.
- Records occurrences and analyzes trends of occurrences.
- Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.
- May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI further defined by each organization/department.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program as required by state licensing laws and regulations and has a current license to practice in the state(s) in which he/she practices.
- Prefer at least two (2) years of experience in home care and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in home care or related health programs.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00am-4:30pm
- On Call rotation
- Office setting
