Job description

We are looking for an experienced Airport Marking Supervisor to perform pavement markings on airports throughout the South East.

An Airport Marking Supervisor must be experienced in applying pavement markings, airport operations and working on airfields, as well as overseeing a small crew. You must be well-organized, have attention to detail, and favor safety above everything else.

Responsibilities

• Read plans and layout markings according to plans and specifications.
• Setup, operate, maintain, and adjust striping equipment according to the job.
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities to employees and subcontractors.
• Supervise and train laborers assisting in marking operations.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate to complete the assigned jobs.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
• Resolve problems when they may arise.
• Report on progress to managers, engineers, jobsite inspectors, etc.
• Ensure proper use by all project personnel of Personal Protection Equipment - hard hats, reflective vests, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, work boots, etc.
• Create daily Foremen’s reports with proper cost codes, contract item numbers, pay quantities, labor, equipment, and rental equipment reporting for Remac crews and any Subcontractors.
• Ensure that daily work is inspected by DOT/Owner/Inspector and recorded for payment.
